Topic: Single Player

I was wondering how to get the single player mini-mod to work because i extracted the file to the mods folder and it still isnt working after trying several places to put it.

Graphics card is nvidia 8800 GT
BF2142 v1.50
Windows XP

using the latest version of FS_SP (http://www.filefront.com/FS+SP+26JUN097 … einfo.html), this is what I do to get FS_SP to run.


I unzip the file using 7Zip (winRAR will also work if you have it), Inside the unzipped file, I copy the folder named "FS_SP", and place it in my "Mods" folder in my BF2142 install location.

Then I launch First strike, hit the "community" tab, and select "FS_SP" in the "mods" list.



If I wasn't to clear, or it didn't work, post back and I'll try help out some more smile

DUKE815: Teamwork's complicated.  I've found that ramming a Lambda with a Y-wing at full boost is most effective.

I selected the FPS mod in the community tab, launched the game, and then it ctd. i run widescreen. is there anywhere in the fps mod i need to add the "+widescreen 1"?

Make sure you did not mix the FS-SP mod and the First Strike mod files.  They must be in their own mod folders.

Ah. While we're on this topic. (What's up, Quinn.)
I've got FS_SP installed and successfully placed in the corresponding folder however when I go into the Community/Change Mods thing, I can see FS_SP. But when I click on it it freezes. Happens when I try to get into FS from BF2142 as well.
