When I download all patches and install Battlefield 2142 and FS Mod I click on FS Mod and it wrotes Insert Disk of Battlefield 2142 (I do not remember that I would have to insert a disc to play after patch 1.51). When I put the disc and clicked on FS Mod and then Run, it wrotes this: There Has been a conflict with emulation software. ???

Ok, you redownloaded them..did you try installing them? Cause if you try to install 1.51 over BF2142 1.51 it will throw up errors, so you have to completely uninstall it. There is another method that involves a registry edit but (and this is going to sound rude) I don't think that you are capable of it from the sound of things.

Delete all versions of BF2142 patches and FirstStrike versions. This is to make sure you do EXACTLY what I tell you and have the correct files. Removing the old versions means you shouldn't be able to use the wrong file.

uninstall First Strike and Battlefield 2142.

Reinstall BF2142.

Download and install BF2142 1.50 from here:
http://www.gamershell.com/download_26858.shtml

Download and install BF2142 1.51 from here:
http://www.gamershell.com/download_69646.shtml

Now, run BF2142 and make sure it works. This will also update Punkbuster for you.

Download FirstStrike 1.50 from here:
http://www.woodat.com/builds/FirstStrike_v1.5.exe

Run and install FirstStrike. During installation a window will pop up asking you to install the FirstStrike launcher. Do not click to install this until all features of the main FirstStrike program have installed.

With everything installed, run the first strike updater/launcher program. It should look for and download a patch for you automatically.

With the patches complete, run the game. If you still experience problems, just go back through this thread to my previous post on how to swap out the .exe files and change your resolution setting.

I redownload Battlefield 2142 patch 1.51 and redownload FS Mod 1.50.
Nothing changes.

You've either got the wrong version of BF2142 (1.51), or the wrong version of First Strike (1.5 build 1015).

In server filter,when I check Same mod and Same version,nothing appears.When I check only Same mod,five red servers appears.

Is it that you have no servers at all or they are showing red?

At the end of the day, we can help as much as we can but if you have downloaded the wrong version of FS, or the wrong version of BF2142 1.51 then you will run in to problems. You should always run BF2142 in vanilla first to make sure you can connect to a server in 2142.

Also, did you go through this thread to the previous advice you were given and make sure you set the server filters correctly?

For resolution fix:

Open the FS launcher, then click file, preferences and in the field titled arguments enter:

+szx 1920 +szy 1080

Replacing the figures for your notebooks resolution (eg +szx 1280 +szy 1080).

As for the no server thing, go to your BF2142 installation folder (eg C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142) and locate the files titled FirstStrike.exe and BF2142.exe. The BF2142.exe file is also sometimes titled BF2142Pace.exe or maybe BF2142Launcher.exe. It should be around 6967 KB.

Copy both the FirstStrike.exe file and the BF2142.exe file to your desktop. Now rename the FirstStrike.exe file to FirstStrike1.exe This is just to keep it safe.

Now rename your copied BF2142.exe file to FirstStrike.exe. Move it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 overwriting the existing file that was there. Now launch FS again and check to see if the servers appear.

Hi,it's me.I buy new notebook.I download Battlefield 2142 with patch 1.51 and download First Strike last version,but when I launch it,screen is little bit small (15,6 screen of notebook) and again,server problem appears.I don't know what to do,because I have made everything I need to play this great mod!

I think if you run into that problem you have to do something like use regedit to fool it into thinking you don't have the prior version by rolling back the registry to the previous version or something.

And you must get rid of the 1.51 beta, make sure it is only the final version of BF2142 1.51 you are attempting to use.

The way to tell if you have the latest 1.51 is that it is around a 2 GB patch.

Heh.Now I don't know if I have 1.51 beta or 1.51. If I download 1.51 it said You have newer version.Newer version?I think there are no more patches.Maximum is 1.51.
