Ok have that fixed! Btw. the original FirstStrike.exe got a Problem with the Renddx9.dll and crashed at the Start up,but now it's all fine... (Hopefully)

Installation order:

BF2142
BF2142 patch 1.5
BF2142 patch 1.51

First Strike

To fix DVD error if this is correct:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142
Find two files, bf2142pace.exe (can also be called bf2142.exe or BF2142Launcher.exe) and also find FirstStrike.exe, both files are in the above address.

Copy BF2142pace (or whatever it is called it depends on version of 2142) to your desktop.

Rename your copied file to FirstStrike (must be spelled exactly as it is in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 folder).

Now cut and paste your NEW FirstStrike.exe file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 so it overwrites the previous version. Then try again.

The BF2142Pace.exe or whatever it is called file is about 6967kb or 7mb in size if that helps you locate it. The FS one needs to be about the same size, thats why we copy and paste.

I have tried to make it simple to follow, but as with anything in computers it can get a bit technical. If you would like more help let me know. This error is common enough I might make a quick video about it.

THX THX THX Update complete,but now comes the Message he will the DVD in my Drive ! Patch 1.51 has removed the DVD check wth... is going on?

I have zipped up the launcher files for you.

your launcher files are in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\First Strike

Download the zipped folder First Strike from here:
https://skydrive.live.com/embedicon.asp … =documents

Unzip it, then place the folder contents in to your launcher address so it overwrites the files. it should all work after that.

Launcher Trouble

Hello! I have Trouble with the last Version from our mod! Downloaded from here http://www.blackintel.org/firststrike/downloads the Direct.exe!
There's my MD5 Checksum c2c9dc54682e5f5d410279b19bf36bc4 so far so good! After the Installation when i will Launch the Mod get the window from the Updater on,and he's Downloading the publauncher0.0.8.3.zip to 12% and he stop the Download,every Time. Firewall is disabled and the Launcher got Adminrights, have tried all Compatibility-modes but the same at all.

So,now when i will enter the Website Woodat.com come's my Securityprogramm and tell's me that!

And there's my Installpath's! Is this correct that's the version.txt say's 1014? And why is my Launcher the Version 0.0.8.1? FS 1.4 got the version 0.0.8.2! Question's over Questions...

I have no idea why are'nt the images displayed. Is this disabled?

I have the Patch 1.5 and 1.51 Final installed,no trouble with the Vanilla Game!
