On most other online communities funk would have been permabanned in a heartbeat, just shows how forgiving these guys are.

As twigs said, anyone with a basic knowledge of the internet (proxy server + disposable mail) can bypass a forum ban.  If spambots can do it, so can an idiot child like funky.  Most LOGICAL people though, accept their ban with grace, wait out their punishment, and come back after knowing not to make the same mistakes.  Again, immature prats like funky, can not accept that they were wrong, and will consider to shout and complain long after people stop listening..

Watching him get past the FS Server bans would be entertaining however.  I can think of three ways he could make it onto BI Server.  One is easily blocked, but I've left it open to see if he's got any brains at all, 2nd is beyond his comprehension.  3rd involves buying a new copy of BF2142.  That may him play for a bit, but considering this kids attitude, even without IP + Region checking, we'd detect him almost straight away, and he'll be out by a few quid for the purchase of the game.

Funky, as you did not take the oppertunity to apologise when given the chance, your game ban on the BlackIntel server will NEVER be lifted.  Bye.

But I do not agree with them as they are not correct therefore I do not accept them. My actions where exactly appropriate. I was polite at first. And then angry when people started being a dick. Of course you can get round a simple forum ban, the majority of people here could probably do the same. If a spam bot can do it, it hardly shows any superior knowledge now dies it? The differance is that the bulk of our members would have enough common sense to take the time during a ban to review their actions and understand the reasons behind it, before taking appropriate action to address it.

Have your actions been appropriate to the ban on either the game servers or the forums? No.

Have you responded with any form of dignity or contemplated your actions, using the time to see the point of view behind it and understand why others find you offensive? No.

Instead you have chosen to continue to act irresponsibly and attempted to incite further division and offence among this small mod community.

I will repeat and clarify my original position on this matter one last time. After that, if you continue to act in this manner I will retract my offer, lock this thread and delete any further posts and ID's you make in future.

I am not unreasonable. You had been banned on two previous occasions for typing swear words on my FirstStrike server. Those bans were lifted immediately when you contacted me. On the last occasion, you recieved the appropriate server warnings before it once again banned you for swearing. You then logged back in using a different account and hash number, and requested the ban be lifted. I explained my reasons for enforcing the ban (for one week) to give you time to think about what you write in future. You then responded with threats and further name calling and swearing, resulting in a further automated ban. This then escalated to further threats and name calling over PM and even in IRC chat channel.

Now, it is about a week, so the ban would have been lifted by now had you not reacted as you did. If you now take this final offer to apologise to me and the other members you contacted, for the name calling, threats and continued use of language I will remove your ban on the server and on these forums.

Tell me when your done throwing a hissy fit like a child and ready to get outargued. Im ready to talk about this calmly and logically. Are you? Im also ready to get nasty. But I dont want to do that unless necessary as I like most of the people on the FS Community.

First of all. My initial behavior was because of frustration with constant lag spikes. And was only said because to my knowledge everyone on the srvr was over 21 (Id say 18 but people that age are still not physically or mentally mature) and I knew them for long enough (2-3 years) that if they had a issue with my swearing theyd simply ask me to say something else. If I had known anyone was under 21 or not fond of swearing Id also have said something else. The swearing was also in the context of frustration directed at lag spikes not in anger directed at a person so it is completely different. And you dont see a problem with people getting shot on the computer game as long as they polite while doing it? you really do have questionable morals dont you? If anger is not the appropriate emotion in such a situation what is?

My anger with twigs after that was because someone I had considered a mate was being a dick about it. Dicks simply dont survive around me. Its not important how tough they think they are.
