Moddb just has a really fast turn around now with news posts, that hoth one should have stayed up longer than an hour in the early morning. I mean whilst it was visible it got 6 comments within the first fourty minutes!

Thats cause its no longer just moddb, but the indy games as well.

Will definitely bang these up on ModDB. The news turnaround can always be punishing and unpredictible, some of our most important news posts get lost in the glut of news that comes out, it is the luck of the draw whether you're on the front page for days or a matter of hours. In the middle of the MOTY Awards season it is even worse as mods compete for news space to get that extra bit of attention and higher profile which will get them those last vital votes.

I think these excellent videos will really help our cause, as it shows people playing the mod and addresses one of the main issues, which is do people actually play the thing? And this shows that they do, and have a lot of fun doing it.

Isn't their a way to go HQ on livestream, though I couldn't do it on my IP at home it is trash, unless they have removed it.

It is good see the livestream stuff too though, as it gives an Imperial (can't believe there was only 2 HP left on that Lancer that took down my Corvette, curses, foiled again!  ) perspective on the matches so you can see the story of the battles from both sides, it is also more complete with pretty much the whole rounds covered, think I'll have a look at incorporating both sets of vids into this week's Campaign news post.

Also people should have a think about what day/days they might fancy having a big pubber game holiday get together during the break in the campaign until next year as I'll promote that as well to help get as many people as possible attending, might draw in a lot of new players who don't yet feel comfortable enough to join in with the more competitive campaign games.

Quite a quick turnaround for you too, Joshino.  Now I can actually see the fighters lol  And it looks like you were in the middle of the action.

The dream was to have the quality of Joshino's vids in LS or another similar service, with live switching back and forth from Reb to Imp players.  Something that  perhaps could even have been embedded in a news post.  It didn't quite work out that way though.
