Aye, that is a good route to take, and some of our community members do use that to keep track of when people are on-line. Other methods include using IRC to gather players at a certain time and place, and also the Player Watch thread which has been set up recently, where people can simply post at what time they intend to jump on a server to play. Your best bet is to attend the Community Games which have been going continuously for quite some time now, these occur every Saturday and Sunday night on the BI server at 8pm BST (British Summer Time), though the Sunday games have been usurped recently by the NIC Campaign which happened at pretty much the same on a Sunday. In the break between campaigns we'll promote the Community Games again, to keep people aware that these are the best times to get on line and play some First Strike with other live players. For other nights your best bet is to head on to the Rebel Defiance server which is currently running our co-op maps, so you can play against bots while you wait for other players to turn up, and then either battle with all live players on one team vs. the bots, or split up with live and bot players vs. the same on the other team. Then if sufficient players turn up for a decent live player only game, switch to BI for bot-less conquest and push maps.

I missed the campaign aswell, and I do think it's over.
But yeah, welcome back!

While that was/is in the shop, I am obviously missing a lot of things. What is this "campaign" business I hear about? And these "community" games? When are people on and servers up? I'm eastern time, so yeah...any info would be great.
