No. Bioware/Lucasarts saw fit to ruin that story, which was one of the best in the entire Star Wars universe. What was so hard about making KotOR III? Instead we got a rather unrelated MMO, a horrible book, numerous plot holes, and many fans that feel betrayed.

Yea, when I hear the name Disney I think of stuff like Bambi. Can't imagine them going ahead with a dark version of SW, which, after ja ja etc, is what SW needs IMO

They are officially Ep 7-9 so I would assume it follows Return of the Jedi.

I just don't think it is a good idea. I feel like Disney is the last place I wanted Star Wars going.

can't be worse than the prequels.

They could make it work. It'd be great to see a new story surrounding Luke as a Jedi Master or even a KOTOR era trilogy.

Yeah, I'm also kind of excited, but mostly scared. Disney has made some good movies, and some utterly terrible ones. Time will tell how the franchise will turn out.

I do hope they keep the original actors, assuming the characters will be the ones we know. They are getting old though...

And please, PLEASE respect the Expanded Universe, I don't want any more contradictions than we already have.

I'm actually tentatively interested and even a little excited, let's face it the prequels were not exactly up to the same classic quality as the original trilogy, as the commentary mentions, maybe some fresh blood behind the camera could reinvigorate the franchise. After all the Clone Wars has gone a long way towards redeeming the prequel era and shows how good the franchise can be in fresh hands. So this could be a good thing or an unmitigated disaster, too early to say either way yet.
