PC Gamer(UK?) had an online article of the best star Wars mods recently. I lost the link but they featured GC and FS.

Heh...nice. I actually installed this a few weeks back. Was a pain to get running but eventually managed it, although I have to run via BF2142, for some reason I get an error when trying to launch via the launcher. Still good fun to play with the bots.

New love for First Strike

Seems to be a lot of new love for First Strike out there. Not sure if this is a reaction to some player's dissatisfaction with the lack of depth in the new Star Wars Battlefront or what, but I've been seeing a lot of new FS gameplay vids out there on Youtube stating how it is so much better than the new DICE/EA game. Quite gratifying to see. Just such a shame that you can't bleedin' play it on multiplayer any more because on the strength of this new exposure I reckon we'd pack them in.

Was highlighted to me by a Youtube user commenting on one of my WIP FS Hoth videos and asking if he could get hold of Hoth as it stands to do a gameplay vid with. Not much for him to play with unfortunately, but it did highlight the issue, and on looking into it further there are a multitude of recently released FS gameplay vids.
