If theres one thing about GC I didnt like it was the lasers themselves. I hope the FS lasers will be all bright, an buzzy, and give the user the feeling he just launched something really powerful.

i think there were ony 2 simple things that made GC great:

1. it was based on Star Wars, what more could you want!
2. it let you do things out of the ordinary like control droids, have space battles and walk around inside transport ships

This mod has definitely achived half of this already and from what i've read i think it's well on its way to achieving the rest!

(Edit ) Oh and i agree with the accuracy thing, the G3 is useless unless you stick it in someone's ear to fire.

Yeah, that is a good point. FirstStrike has already exceeded GC and it hasn't even been released yet!

I also agree with you on the accuracy thing, besides, lasers should be better then bullets.

i say this because there was a review about GC in a dutch gaming magazine about BF42 mod's and GC was better then any of the current Lucas art SW games (was in other counties reviews to.

so if FS doesnt get mails from lucasart.. well we will see.

I'm sure we'll live up to GC! It indeed was a very fun and cool game. I'm going to play it again actually just to get into the groove

I fixed that, you can now type GC as much as you please. We're not out to bash GC (or any mod for that matter) at all, and while I've not played it personally, I've heard that it was a lot of fun, and I personally hope (and believe) that this mod will satisfy everyone's Star Wars needs
