Ok firstly concerning PC Zone.... media & Lucas Arts

1) I cant scan it and print it in a public forum because of the copyright of PC Zone, seeing as PC Zone are the 1st magazine to promote the mod, i wouldnt want to go against their policies

2) Lucas Arts wrath - Im not certain, but imsure, that with the release of Battlefront 1 & 2 and finally covering the span of mas ground batle and space battle in their own game, they shouldnt bother First Strike...... as that WAS the issue with Galactic Conquest

Well I don't remember where I read it. I think it was an old post from the GC forums, but Lucas Arts said that they wouldn't be very hard on mods now on because it gives them publicity.

Definatley we should pursue once we get to alpha. Bit wary what LA would do tho ,knowing their history of shutting mods down...especially if it puts their games to shame (like we hope )

Lucasarts could learn a lot from this team in terms of quality. Lately I've been disappointed in the products that they've been turning out (I know its the companies they hire that do the actual work on the game, but do they see the stuff that they're turning out?). Some of the games, like Battlefront II, shouldn't have even been released as early as it was, because of all of the bugs within the game. Don't get me wrong it was still good, but from what I've seen this mod will top it.

Publicity is a good thing but with nothing to show them ingame its pretty pointless imho.
we need to show a little resolve and wait untill we can offer them something as then they could include it on a future disc as a freebie giveaway. Plus we need to get the lucasarts auth asap.

Hmm, as much as I would love an interview in a magazine, it makes me wonder what Lucas Arts would do to us. They would be interested I'm sure, but I don't know if it would be in a good way. Publicity would be really nice though.
