Yes. I believe everything about this site except for the forums is hosted by TotalBF: 2. They recently got hacked which effected this site.

I have been VERY busy lately, and not only with the mod. I've just been promoted at work and I've been fighting to get my hours back on track. It's tough enough looking after one crew but now I have the entire shop to look after.
I do feel bad for you guys though. You have been very patient so far and haven't asked for anything to crazy yet, but we do have a Dev diary coming up pretty soon as well as another update full of new stuff.

xERO should be back soon, as I believe he is the only one that has the power to edit our main page. Just hang in there guys, and I hope we don't leave you hanging like this again. Rest assured though, we are working so hard its unbelievable.

haha, lets hear it for Halo. Quite possibly the next generation equivalent to Star Wars. H3 will take care of your concerns, I guarantee it. In the mean time, we have FS to occupy our time

I've been working hard, I swear. But yesterday I watched the Halo 3 E3 trailer over and over all day

But today, I'm getting back on track.

Most other MODs out there are very similar to BF2. Modern day war with tanks, helicopters, jets, and modern weapons. They can use alot of the animations, sounds, and effects from BF2 for their own custom weapons and vehicles. First Strike on the other hand cannot. We're replicating vehicles and weapons of a whole new era, with new effects, sounds, and very bizarre stuff compared to BF2. We have to create most of our sounds, effects, and animations from scratch. I'm not saying any other MOD doesn't, but making a tank is much easier and less time consuming than making an X-Wing or an ATST.

I'm already seeing alot more activity inside the team and we're all getting back on track. You can expect an update soon and I'm sure everybody will enjoy it.
