Makes BF2 look like a corridoor shooter.  Dam I forgot thats what the devs turned it into.....random shooting too.  I hope first strike are doing away with random shooting?  It really really puts people off BF2, especially when games like Planetside are now free for 1 year.

Also, right-click your bf2 shortcut and select properties. Somewhere in there is a line of code that says "Fullscreen 1". Change the 1 to a 0 and bf2 will run in debugger mode, it should give you an error when it crashes telling you your problem.

I wish I could explain it better and give you images to help but I don't have BF2 installed. I just finished formating my PC.

The game loads and at the 50% mark of loading a map it just goes back to desktop.

Anyone ever had this happen before?
