Yeah guys Xero is the man when it comes to communicating with people. We are all very busy with school, work etc. and trying to get this mod out. Please be patient with us:)

Apologies PIE and Sampson and to any others who have applied, this isnt me or anyone ignoring you please dont think that. I myself have had some major work to get through the last month or so and to that end I come back and then get the FLU !!!!! I will be in touch this weekend ok ! unwrapping = laying out the faces onto a map
skinning = unwrapping and texturing the object

if you can use PS and learn to unwrap it would be ideal

I gather unwrapping is the process of putting all the faces/areas of a 3D object into a 2D map for texturing/skinning

well we could teach ya then go from there if ya interested?

i have recently learnt unwrapping, doesnt take too long ya just need to get the hang on it. sure alx ry and blitz could help out.. i will be willing to help but am currently v. busy at the mo. give me till mid june and i am willing to help out

I am capable of 3DS max bout half a year experience. The sword above was made in 3ds in bout 2 hours so somethin big like this i would spend maybe 10+ refining detail. Im not to sure bout unwrapping. probably would have to find a tutorial on the net and memorize them. Thats how i learn, i do numerous tutorials and later builds up to knowledge. well why not give unwrapping a shot.

Everyone has to start somewhere Samson are you capable of using 3DS Max and or proficient in Unwrapping models to skin them ?

We aren't in need of modellers atm, if you can texture or code as well, the team will love you. If not apply anyway, it can't hurt to show off your skills (unless one of you skills happens to be Karate).
