We only take testers, who will...

1) Commit themselves to testing duties
2) Be mature and methodical in their summaries
3) Address issues in a timely manner to the attention of the DEV
4) Look at the specific matters tasked by the DEV per build
5) Abide by our NDA

Nothing unreasonable there. In my last job one of my duties was being helpdesk to a software program, this also involved giving feedback to the programmers of bugs found by customers.

I don't know if there are currently any openings, but I wouldn't mind donating some of my time playing BF2142 to FS.

I saw that, but unfortunately I didn't see any option to change my Forum name. It would mean I would have to make a new one and the current one states I have been following this beauty of a mod from 10-10-2006.

And I know they only take testers that have been here for a while.  Hence forth the wrong tags.

I  can vouch for JW he's a stand up guy, I've been involved in clans with this guy for years now, going way back to when I was a battalion leader for the SW Division in TAW. He is level headed, inteligent and articulate and exactly the sort of guy who could provide useful and productive feedback on the game as it stands.

He gets a thumbs up from me.

I can speak and write in english and in german. I hope to be able to help out with the beta testing to ensure the game will live up to the high standards, you all are aiming for.

I must say I am nothing but impressed by the progress I have seen sofar, even thought EA hasn't released any form of MODtools as of yet, except for the BF2 tools that is.

As reference I would like to name Talon, who is a clanmate of mine and has allready been accepted.

The Devs never give release dates and for good reasons. They're faced with a very difficult engine but are doing wonders so far. It takes time. I heard RUMOR that late spring of this year is a P-O-S-S-I-B-I-L-I-T-Y, but I forgot the thread.

Anyway, WELCOME to the forums, and I hope you achieve Tester status in time.
