Mods run into issues, hense setbacks. Even fully fledged games companies get setbacks.

No offense Solid Gear but you were a "hermit from FirstStrike" anyway. Its people like GeneralAndrew,ArcAngel, Sgt Fuzz etc that are the ones that have been here adding ideas etc and ,whilst they were disapointed at first, they didnt resort to immature , unknowledge-able rants.

Xero has every right to fight back and defend us.

Don't glorify my position. I don't work for this mod in any other way than posting on their forums yet. So I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm mad at EA, not FS.

How can you state that it will take a long time? Have you ever made a mod before? I know that alot of people are angry, but no one is forcing you to buy the game.

Yes we did , in simple terms now laymans terms do you want a Mod that wont have half the features in Star Wars or would you care to have them in ?

IE; Want to pilot an ATAT ? Want to pilot a AirSpeeder with Grappling Hooks ? Want a Full Size ISD you can board ? Want a Full Size Death Star with Trench Run ? Then STFU moaning and go with the flow..... im sick of you guys now barracking the team . Dont you think we want to see this as much as you DO FFS ! We want it as MUCH if not more, OUR talents are free are monies are going in to provide software and hardware and forums and websites just for the sickophants not open minded enough to slag us off. We have tried to be nice, just cool it now and see what our overstrecthed and underpaid team can deliver! /rant

I actually have lost all faith now, the force is dying with this mod, Disgusted it's being ported for the new battlefield release. Question, r u getting any funding for porting to that game rather than the original BF2. What happened to all the hype you guys splurted to this community, & now we r 2 go & fork out for a new game after what we have been sold from ur selves. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but you gave with one hand & took away with the other, (NOT A GOOD MOVE).

I wish you well in your endevours, but youve lost my support as I know it will take ages for you to release, DON'T LIE, YOU KNOW IT WILL!!!!!!!!!. At least another 12 months, I will be waiting till the new game goes bargain bin, cause they can't even get BF2 right, just wait for the teathing probs in the new game.

I think it's time the force led me to be a hermit from first strike for a long time.

Well guys we are a LONG way with this Mod, you will have to wait a lot lot looooooooot longger for another one which will kick a55 as much as this will.

This is a sad thing to happen, many will be like tren. I wish this could be avoided...... I'm tired of waiting for this mod, I've tried to be patient. Our fanbase will deplete as there is another SW mod on bf2. As much as I will die inside, I guess I will get 2142. I'm sorry, but this is truly a dissapointment.

P.S. goodbye Tren, it's been nice to have you on the forums with everyone.

I am sorry to hear that, I highly doubt I will port over to BF2142, so I am sorry to say that I will be terminating my support of this mod...unless I decide to go to BF2142. I used to be very active on these forums, but I have moved on to more and maybe some better things.

I do not wish to flame the FirstStrike team because of their decision, I only wish to express my disappointment. I wish you had continued your development of the mod for BF2, but I guess that is obviously not going to happen.

I would like to keep my forum account, incase I ever come back and you guys are still useing these forums.

To all the great members, great people, and especially the good mod team that are involved with FirstStrike, good luck and goodbye.
