I already see some familiar SF faces so I dont feel to strangerlike. Though I will have to learn a great deal of new names - but its all good. looking forward to what is looking to become a truly great SW game.

However, that type of Statement is the type of statement that makes me cringe. It makes me cringe because, I didn't want to hear, it, yet I felt it was probably In-evitable. Unfortunately it is the type of statement that would most likely Pi$$ off the long time FS devs (and rightly so).
In a worst case scenario, it might cause some Friction. (I doubt it will but worst case   )

As bandu says, this is First strike, GC and first strike only have 1 thing in common, "Star Wars" The old GC Devs that worked on Shattered Faith, which have now crossed over Here to FS, have no intentions of trying to make FS into GC at all. We are here to help make FS a success.

Yes perhaps our passed experience in making a star wars mod will come in handy, for advice for things that worked well game play wise, or things that fell flat on their face. There are also bound to be similar ideas it is star wars after all.

However after a team meeting we had last night, I came away personally, thinking that FS could be WAAAAYYY better than GC was, The guys that have worked on FS have done a Stellar and fantastic job, when they say they have only shown the tip of the iceberg, they are right.

When I visited their private forums and nosed around, I was quite taken a-back at the work and planning carried out.

I must also say that the guys working on this mod are great guys, I've only been here like 1 full day and they have welcomed us all and we all seemed to get on like a house on fire, in fact it almost felt like we’ve known each other for ages.

I get good vibes from the team, and think they are extremely talented dedicated and hard working (Especially as I hear from Quality control, eh blitz?   )

Again TY2D2 I know what you were trying to say, and thank you for the welcome, just remember this is First Strike, and it will be First strike that is Number 1 mod for Bf2142

I would like to be part of this community and have freindly relations with all its members/devs. And I would like to contribute anything I can as a SW fan to your mod with ideas/suggestions.
