Ive been a web designer for 13 years working on National Newspapers (x7 sites) and for International ISPs, not everyone will like it thats true, I just wanted something a little different, Im not offended that you dont like it Markus just the tone in which you carried your sentiment.

I love the new look but one suggestion - instead of "FirstStrike Forums" just make it "Forums" because I know it took me a WHILE to find the forums navigation button. Possibly move it up higher on the list too...

I think the site is fine also, but its not about the site its about whats in it and the updates. What would you have them work on more a site or the mod?

when i made my first site it was kinda like this to:
big pictures everywhere, taking away the readability from the links

Yea I like the site too.. The nav bars text is kinda hard to read, but once you have been to the site a couiple times you pretty much memorize the buttons.

I personaly like the website, it looks like it had a lot of time made into it and you can find information easily. I do have to agree though that the navigation can be slightly hard to read at times though, and perhaps make the POTD stand out abit more (talking about the "Bothan Spy" block). Just my opinion- I like it either way though, much better than the old one as well.

I thought the main site looked very nice, maybe the navigation part is a bit hectic, but it's nice.

to be honest i dont care, i dont spend hours there as i do here, the only thing i use the home page for is for fs forum link which i know now where it is off by heart so i dont even wait for it to load

no offence, but the main site look like it was made by some little kid with to may SW pics.
im talking about the menu with links, its to big to go with the rest of the page.
