Ya, I got a 2.66 pentium 4, 1.12 gigs of ram, and agp 8x. I honestly dont know about the power supply however.

Arc just wondering does your machine meet the requirments for the Nvidia?
* Pentium 4, AMD Athlon or compatible CPU
* 128MB system memory
* AGP8X slot
* System power supply with minimum 300W or higher

Edit: With Direct X 10 coming out will our cards be able to get updated? Or will we all have to buy new cards?

I've always liked Nvidia, but this ati is a 512 for a cheaper price. Am I right to think this card is twice as good as the other?

That 6800XT looks pretty good. Just get that, dont think of ATI. I'm not going to go into detail, but Nvidia cards are better for the battlefield kind of game.

Its a 512, with ddr2, and agp, for 129.99, which definetly sounds awsome.
So I have two questions. One, which is the more powerful card (the first one is ddr3, while this new ones a ddr2)? And secondly about the power supply. Does it look like this new card will run on a standrad dell power supply (dont know the actually wattage)?

Hmmm good post rybot, I'd go for the XFX card, it looks best to me (price wise).
Or of course the free card! Wow! That card must've been top notch about 10 years ago, and now its free (actually, that's a pretty good card for my old Pentium 2 MMX machine.. hmmmm)

that looks good, i run well on a 6200 OC, so you shouldn't have any problems.

i say get a (extra) smal job and save up till the release and see how many you still need.
i build my pc to last so i spent a lot of money on it for it to do so.

not that i havent updated it or anything. SLI, Ram, Fans
and im still looking into wether or not to put in liqeud cooling.

so : Save money and get something better then you can get for the 120you have now.
new cards coming before bf2142. so prices will drop

You'll still find some good deals out there, but if you're going to keep playing Gfx intensive games, you might want to start saving for a new system.

There are some motherboards on the market that have BOTH AGP and PCIe slots, If you could find one of those that just happened to be compatible with your Memory, you'd be halfway there.

I'm in the same situation too. I've got an old Sapphire(ATI) 9500 Pro 128MB that I was surprised was able to handle the BF2 Demo. I have just over a Gig of Ram.

If I keep gaming, I'll definitely be building myself a new PC. Let's see if First Strike makes me take that step.

If anyone finds a good (read cheap) Upgrade or New System, I'd love to hear about it.

Will do. Man, I get complacent with my 5200 for awhile, and look what happens! They switch teh damn card slot type on me!
