If the devs would like, im sure us noc could lend you our server for testing. It has been done before for GC. I believe it is a dual Xeon and 100 mbit down. If you are interested, send me a PM, or you can email me at server@teamnoc.com. I can't garuntee anything, but ill have to talk with our server administrator in the clan.

ooo a server?? Ok guys I'm going to be honest. I want to play this mod badly, so I may just get BF2142 .

Now, I have a server. Hardly anything going on in it. I could host a 32 player server when the mod first comes out for a couple weeks. What you think?

True - but my specs work for 16 player. Just upgraded my downstream to 10Mbps. If you want it, let me know.

Thanks for your offer but you need at least a P4/Xeon/Opteron/Athlon64 at higher clock rates with at least 2GB of (preferably EEC/Registered/Buffered) RAM to run a BF2142 properly at more than 32 players. TBH I don't even think that a P3 can host 16 players. Also a T1 line wouldn't be sufficient as BF2142 needs about 2-4 times more traffic per player.

I have a Pentium III 512Mb Win2k server running Half Life2 Day of Defeat:Source mod on a T1 line that is underutilized. What are the server requirements for BF2? I have absolutely no beef swapping it over to test BF21:FS
