It seems to me that you are trying to release 2 separate parts of a game at the same time.  I realize that It would be totally sweet to provide both space and ground warfare in the first ... (might i say) episode!

It seems that it might be more advantagous to release just the infrantry aspect first the expand to the space as the second installment.  That way you can focus all your efforts on one challenging area at a time.
