I accept the 'duel' lol ..but not for a while tho' ,I dont have it installed anymore and im kinda busy with FS.

The reason i say its a button masher is because there are no real combos. sure the actual model does a combo ..but all the player does is press 1 or 2 buttons.

Jedi are a gimick in swbf2. If they wanted to add in jedi they should have done it properly or atleast something resembling JO/JA or even obi wan (the xbox game) . Iv said this many times in the swbf2 community and most agree... a minority think it would make them too powerful..but they dont understand game balancing.

I wish that it was that easy, I challenge you to a duel, as I get computer back from the shop I shall defeat you, it's not a button masher. Only noobs are button mashers and they are food for the real players. With or without force, being a button masher doesn't help, it only hurts. Do you accept my challenge?

I fully understand the swbf2 dueling system. TBH it isnt even a system. Its pretty much whoever hits first. Its a button masher. I mean you press 1 button and your jedi does a combo! its kiddyfied far too much.

You cant choose where you swing your saber ... eg. move left and click should just allow me to make 1 slash to the left side ....this doesnt happen.

Iv spent along time with swbf1/2 both playing and modding..I know those games inside out and they are very shallow...esp the jedi.

Just because you don't understand the SWBF 2 dueling system doesn't mean that it is poor. I like Jedi Outcast's dueling as well, although while that game is in my opinion weak because most people moved on to Jedi Academy (I have not played Jedi Academy) I also like SWBF 2's duel system because there really is more than meets the eye as you will know if you ever duel me (can't knock me down ).

As for dueling systems, I have to say the best I've ever seen has to be eldre scrolls oblivion. I have no idea how, but if FS ever does have jedi combat, the devs should do anything they can to emulate oblivion's dueling feel.

Yea , to compare swbf2's dueling sytem to jedi outcast's/academy's is disrespectful to the guys who made JO/JA....imo.

I love the heroes assault, if you learn to play it well, it can be very fun. Version 1.0 has the most skilled players I think. It's like versions 1.1 and 1.0 have completely different players so it really differs. If you get the 1.0 clans to train you, you can really be useful later on. It's becoming a community all its own in a way that Jedi Outcast's dueling has. If you have not tried it, you really should.

Oh man, I can't believe this question was asked. Why did they make a Batlefront 2 if there was already a Battlefront 1?

Battlefront 2 is fast paced. Like Unreal Tournament fast.

FS is Battlefield fast. Which is less twitch gameplay and takes smarter people to play well. Its almost part RTS especially when your a squad leader or a commander.

Battlefront 2 doesn't really stick to the Star Wars lore. It molds the lore to fit the game.

FS molds the game to fit the lore.

Battlefront 2 is for people that like Halo 2.

FS is for people that have brains and are over 18 years old.

Conclusion, Battlefront 2 is a totally different game, next time, read into something before you ask questions.
