Thank you for the compliments *beams* but i can't take all of the credit. Most of my Star Wars models are based on Lucas Arts creations such as R2 and the various ships.

My Main Occupation is spent as an Engineering Drafter, mostly aircraft equipment.

As far as LOD and COL... Is LOD, Level Of Detail? And I am not sure what COL is in reference to. I am a self taught modeler with no formal training at all other than a 2D drafting Degree, so some of the modeling terms may be outside my current knowledge.

Also, let me try to render a better example of R2. The sample I linked to was just a quick render and doesn't show the finer details like his tool sets and such. And the ship prototype is a very basic shape that I am still slowly adding more detail to. Please keep in mind that any textures I use in my models are pictures and texures which I have downloaded from other creators. I don't have any good art applications for creating 2D textures yet.

LOL....Let me clarify......

I am a father of two, thus I have images of Thomas the Tank Engine, Barbie Dolls, and other cute and cuddley type cartoons on my PC. Sometimes I open the wrong image because a child or my wife has saved it in my "Rendered Images" folder. There, I apologize in advance if you get a picture of Winnie The Pooh instead of R2.

Now...here is a link to two sample images. The first; is the R2 (I hope) That I am still detailing. The rendered image is not the best example of textures or lighting, but should at least let you see the quality of the model. The second image is a protype ship designed to look akin to the FireSpray which Jango and Boba Fett flew.

OK, I may need just a tad bit of help. I am trying to display a pair of images that I have rendered as samples. But, after reading the "How-To" on loading images, it looks like I need them in a web page. Is there a way to directly load an image for viewing, or do I need to create a quick web-page and then make a link to image on the page?
