Yeesh, I like realistic graphics and all, but when they get this expensive, its cheaper just to go outside. The framerate is always sweet, and you ought to see the polygons on birds! Just insane! Some sweet texture work, although houses seem pretty bland...wheres the variety?

I for one will be very slow to transfer to vista. I'll give 1-2 years before I install that new junk, making sure all bugs have been squashed allready. Life is too short to bugtest microsoft products

same goes for dx10. the transfer won't be over a night, it'll take over a year, and the transition times products will be in either camp really or support both dx's. that or I'll give them my long finger

You're right, but in most cases, it's safe to say that motherboards that are three or less years old will have 8X. Besides, I think most cards have an option on their compatibility menus or in the bios.

My graphical board is also AGP 8x, but it can run on my mainboard who only supports up to 4x

But there comes a day that high-end cards are also alot cheaper, when newer cards arrive, once those of ATI hits the market, we gonna see a pricedrop of the G80

If your PC has AGP, you can install any AGP compliant video cards. Like wise, if you have PCIE (sometimes PCIX/x) then you can install any PCIE compliant video card. Some are cheap, but be warned- the less you spend on it, the less it'll perform. The more you spend on it, the better results you'll have.

any cheap cards tp boost up in game preformance for my PC at home, i will give u the info of my home PC when i get home...
