We are already testing our stuff in 2142. Most of it can be done with a good old textpad. I wouldn´t worry too much about the release of the tools, since they are gathering mod adds to the 2142 ingame billboards. Hopefully they will release them soon.

For now you can use the BF2 mod tools for 2142, but you will be limited in what you can do with them.

Well I am not a dev... But I have heard they will get the mod tools just as soon as you, and that they are going to come out someday... Also The BF2142 Engine is very similar to the BF2 engine... so porting so it shouldn't be very hard I have been hearing.

Im on the Battlefield Ninjas Mod team, and i was wondering if the tools are going to come out, or how you will port Firststrike over to Bf2142.
