I can make maps but not very well... I don't understand textures so my ground looks really plain... it bothers me.

Could you not make the map and then give it to the mod team to texture?

I may give map-making another try. I was working on a Front Line map for GC which had an interesting, ambitious project, but found that I was in way over my head.

I'd like a swamp map, but don't make it Dagobah. Just make something up.

The reality is few people can make maps, and those that can would probably rather be in the mod team anyway.

Tho, I was under the impression this section was for people doing custom maps . Would be a difficult map to do , or atleast time consuming, for a 'fan' made map ..due to modeling yoda and gungans

You say Gungans didnt have space travel , well neither did Ewoks. Does it matter for a 'fun map'? no.

Altho, at least the Gungan planet (Naboo) had space travel

except for luke skywalker where his clone luuke was created not sure if he had all lukes force powers though so...

Those who dwell in the realms of fantasy are only limited by their imagination.  I recall the technology of cloning to be a viable option within the Star Wars universe, ergo, your army of Yodas.  Also, you dont need to live on the planet you go to war on, after all this is Star Wars.  But if you only entertain map concepts that reenact what you see in the films I can respect that.

Considering that Gungans have no space travel, and Yoda would never submit to being cloned, I doubt that.

Everyone is welcome to make their own custom maps though

Yoda is the only one of his species known to be in existence (there as another one earlier, but she died). He's a hermit and lives alone.

Jar Jar lived 20 years earlier than episode 4, and while he's still probably alive, lives on a completely different planet to Yoda.

So not gonna happen.
