if there is or isnt a SP mode it will still kick LA in the nads that a bunch of moders putting together a better experiance than they have and they pay these people mad money to do it its quite sad accually granted i have both SWBF games and had fun playing it for a few months...hey LA i want my 100 bucks back....lol

well for starters they cant climb up ladders and they arent super snipers, so unless you stand stil (dumb thing to do in a battle) you will probable never get sniped

The biggest problem with singleplayer, to my knowledge, is the AI. I'm not too sure on this, but I think they're not very programable in terms of scripted actions. They pretty much just run and shoot.

I may be wrong, this isn't really my field, and as was already said, we're just worrying about the mp for now.

You also don't get those yummy points. Common, be honest, we all love the points...

Well, maybe not all of us. But points are fun.:D Then again, FS might not have a ranking system (Havn't heard anything about it yet, correct me if I'm wrong). It would still be awesome even without promotions and such.

Still fun

I don't mind killing STUPID noobs in 2142... To me its there is no difference between a bot and a noob, except ones name will be John Hoover, the other ones name will be something like {s00perl1337sn!p3R} and noobs cry when you shoot them. They are both stupid either way though haha

We have discussed giving the files to another team to get a singleplayer mode for it. Singleplayer just isnt a priority right now.

Single player IS quite important. When the mod gets into its mid-life cycle and loses the casual fans to new game releases, there needs to be something there to warrant a download for them when the servers aren't all full.

Even simple space combat levels that can be loaded up with two or three players and tons of bots would be a +

I realize it's a multiplayer mod first and foremost, but the smart thing to do is outsource the singleplayer coding to the guys over at Battlefield Singleplayer, for instance.
