I played "that other star wars mod" and I enjoyed it very much, and I don't think anyone on these boards believes that it wasn't a very good mod that is very deserving of recognition, but that isn't why it was censored.  It was censored more as a joke than anything else.

I find it ironic that most of the "humor" devs are now on the FS team yet you still feel it necessary to censor the name of their first mod... especially considering in this case we are simply referencing it rather than comparing it to FS as a superior mod.

I mean FFS, censoring GalacticConquest makes you look just like the NORDers, censoring NoC (making it a ban word actually) because they were bitter about NoC being a superior clan... You don't want to give that impression do you? Lets all be professional...

I was having a laugh .. (i censored it to "my butthole" ) ie. "Hey are you gonna have droids in FS like in 'my butthole'  . 

The "humor" censor was the result of someone crying over the 'butthole' joke.

I suggested that we censor it for a couple reasons.  THX made a funny comment about censoring words and somehow he made it look like "lesbian make-out party" was in our filter, and I decided to find out what word or phrase was censored into "lesbian make-out party", but hours of trying every dirty word or phrase later, I discovered that it wasn't actually in our filter.  After learning this, and observing someone make a comment about GalacticConquest, I suggested adding the acronym for "that other star wars mod" into our filter and turning it into "lesbian make-out party", mostly just to poke fun at Bandu's attitude about discussion on our boards pertaining to "that other star wars mod", but also because I really wanted to get "lesbian make-out party" in our filter.

But to be clear, the censoring had nothing to do with feeling inferior or jealousy or anything childish like that, it was mostly as a joke so just chill out.
