Sorry but does that effect gameplay? No, and is it not easy to remove people that exploit it? Yes. No one would try that anyways, its a mod. People aren't going to care about the big picture...

Just look at those people who exploited the BF2 commander thing and the Titan air drop bug. They had millions of points, and for what?

Me too...

Ranking doesn't have to include uber weapon unlocks... Its fun to compare stats. That doesn't alter gameplay, and its not like anyones going to abuse it? Why the hell would you stat pad JUSt for numbers? Thats rediculous.

Are you guys going to get all butthurt if someone rubs into your face that they knifed you 12 times in a row and have proof? I don't see why you see the need to complain.

Personally I would rather not have ranking. For no other reason than I'd rather they were working on something else more usefull.

Tbqfh, if I see anyone looking into ranking before everything else is completely complete 100% I will be making very critical reports about it whilst testing.

Simply put, ranking is completely unnecessary, and whilst it might be fun for some people, in what is likely to be a relatively (compared to CS, POE2 and things like DoTA) mod it will likely only cause negatives. The other fact is that ranking systems can all be abused, so as always its not like it will even mean anything.

I have done some quick research and found that there is a site doing 2142 ABR

From what I can tell. "ABR" Is a ranking system like the one you find in bf2 and bf2142. But the stats are recorded on a different system to what EA does. The PRMM and POE mods use the same system for there rankings. Again I am saying that I would like to see rankings at a latter date. Not from day one.

Talon1579 may not like rankings. But I do, and I am sure there will be lots of players that will like to see a rank system one day.

Points gained in-game are recorded on POE's website, so people can flame each other about them. Stay away from ranking if you want a good game.

Yes it is, but not like the official ones... POE has one of thier own in the works currently... It is possible.
