inspired by the post in the "post one wish" thread, I decided to have a go at designing the sketch for an underwater map and see what I could come up with.

Map Name: FS Sunken
Planet: Mon Calamari
Ground/Space: Ground (sea-bed).
Weather/Lighting: Relatively shallow waters and thus rather bright. Water clear. No significant currents.
Layout Diagram: Terrain is hilly, with patches of sea-weeds, some rocks strewn throughout, and undersea mountains with several steep cliffs around the crash site. The sub has smashed through a mountain-side on her way down, and pieces of it lay scattered around the crash site.

The Imperials have had some time to recover and get ready for combat, and have set up laser emplacements and other defenses around the crash site. They've also set up barricades at the sub's entrances and throughout the vessel itself, to hinder invading troops.

Map description: An Imperial submersible on a troop deployment mission has been sunk by a Mon Calamari perimeter mine-field. A Mon Calamari troop transport touches down nearby and dispatches a squad of infantrymen to neutralize the sub's defenders. The crew of Sea Troopers need to hold their submarine until an Imperial recovery vessel can make it to the site.

Game-play Description: This is a Conquest-Assault mission. The side that depletes the other side's tickets wins.

Vehicles:
   IMPERIALS
     - Submersible troop transport wreck (static).

   ALLIANCE
     - Troop deployment submarine (static).

Extra notes: Underwater physics apply (low gravity, high friction, and so on).
