Tarkin, just stop stirring, the ROE aren't even official last time I checked.

What's more if you're loaded into vanilla, (as has been said) FS and other mods have zero effect on the game. Simply put there is nothing there to actually trigger any of the rules anyway.

Just to make this completely clear again - BF2142 stats and FS have NOTHING to do with each other, EA probably can't even tell you have a separate mod installed when you're playing vanilla.

Well nice to hear that our BF2142 stats will not be borthered with. Hopfully EA wont go Anti-Mod and kill the fun.

Yea but they screwed the mods over this time around, no tools have been released, I don't think they will ever release them.

here is a video of what i meant by when ea ships mod tools before the game comes out. i know this is bf2 they are talking about but i figured it would stay the same for the next game to come. this is the exec. prod. of bf. he talks about it about 1/3 of the way through.

What that thingy in the rules of engagments means is that you can't alter BF2142 (If you open up \Electronic arts\2142\mods\ you will see 2142 is a mod of the 2142 engine) how ever you can create new mods. These new mods ie firststrike do not change your vanilla 2142 they run in parrallel to vanilla 2142 they even have seperate desktop icons. FS can only be used to connect to FS servers and 2142 too connect to 2142 servers.

Wha?! Why were we not informed of this mystical editor?

Seriously though, the mod will not affect your stats at all. The only way you will get your account erased is if you are caught hacking on an official ranked server. This has nothing to do with mods in any way, shape or form.

It will have absolutely no effect on the mod whatsoever. The mod doesnt have ranking. And if it does one day it will not be official BF2142 ranking it would some third party stats that are not affiliated with EA at all. If someone reports you and they check your folders (or whatever they do) they are going to go into the BF2142 folders.

Not the First Strike folder, they have nothing to do with eachother, and they dont effect eachothers stats.

but like said before thats if you mod the vanillia version, which is the one you bought at a store. this a total conversion. ea sends out mod and map editors to people before the game even comes out so that they can make there mods quicker. mods are not ranked. you do not get points for playing on a mod nor do you get awards. ea cant track your progress ona mod. what you listed are times when people hack the game and play on ramked servers. they are competely different. your stats and rank are safe if you play the mod, dont worry.

What im trying to say is if the People have BF2142 and have stats. And the people get this mod and what happeans to the Players stats? Heres the anwser:

Meaning for BF2142 players your stats might be erased. Its like if you have a high rank and it took time to earn it . Then BFROE ***** come and earse the hard work to get that rank. Then that's ***** up.

BF R.O.E dont work with my corrupted install disk of bf2.
no matter where i install i still see a warning for enemie mines 80% of the time. claymores the same.
but what does this have to do with FEAR?
