I didn't like what I saw with the 320. I currently have a 512mb ATI and it would feel like back stepping in the memory range. I am also a die hard AMD fan. Every Intel I ever had gave me nothing but grief. I have an AMD 350mHz still running for my 4 and 6 year old.

In 2142 the GTS 320 actually gets 82,2 Fps while the 640 gets 82 Fps, and hey, what else besides 2142 do you need

But ouch, the difference is about 32 fps in Company of Heroes..

No, the card is better than the 320... Last time I checked it did make quite a difference, even more so probably when you use directx10.

Also, yeah, I'd go for a core2duo, they're hardly more expensive. But that cpu is also pretty good

I'd get a 320MB version of that card, shouldn't be much of a difference, and an Intel Core 2 Duo. (with suitable mobtherboard)
