I could have sworn we already have this implimented when you go from standing to prone whilst strafing sideways. It came with the standard 2142 animations we used for the soldiers. It's definately not the obscene swbf version though, just a nice touch for when players dive for cover.

Or maybe I am hallucinating all this. Not sure...

I dislike the whole rolling thing, it always struck me as unrealistic in BF2, you' d stand there (or couch) and lace a guy lay on the ground with automatic fire, and he'd just role on the spot and shoot u with a head shot, whilst hardly getting hit. Not gonna happen, you ever tred rolling and getting a shot off like that with a rifle, especially with a hail of bullets comming at you?

Personaly I hope this is a feature that won't get included, or if it does, then your whole viewpoint should role as well as your character just like in real life, where it would then be used to nip back into cover, instead of just to avoid getting hit, whilst lining a shot up.

I don't believe that this would suit this MOD.
In the movies I recall no Stormtroopers diving and rolling for cover. Not only because they were to bulky maybe to move in such a fashion, but also because they trust their armor to protect them.

Therefor I don't think this would be a good feature to add.

Well, rolling does make it more aggorvating I guess, I just liked that when someone stands in front of you with a shotgun, you can at least roll out the way giving you a second our 2 to at least prepare a defence. Armor wouldn't hurt that much rolling in, if you rolled in lava, then it would be like tar and feathering yourself.
