Lucas trying to make Solo more of a "good" guy is one of the biggest piles of rubbish in the series for me. I dont understand why he decided to change a main characters character so long after the event. Han Solo the man who supposedly lived by gut instinct and made a living out of shady deals and dodging the law and various criminals waiting for someone else to pull the trigger first? Not a chance.

In original movie Han shot first, but then they released the Special Edition, and they changed it, so in the Special Edition, it's Greedo who shoots first

Oh please that is the revised version. Not really reliable is it, qouting the ones that changed it in the first place.

Han shooting added to the character. A take no BS badass. Hell if it was real world Han would have been justifed anyway Greedo had a gun pointed at him to begin with.

I can't stand some re-edits. The whole Greedo shot first thing is on par in lameness with steven spielberg removing the shotguns at the road block scene, and replacing
them with radios and bullhorns.

that just proves that Greedo needed to get smoked in the booth... i mean, if he can't hit a fully grown human at a distance of about 3 feet, then what use is he apart from a pool of smoking nasty!!

Lucas edited it to make Han seem more of the good guy. Stupid if you ask me, was much better with Han just shooting first, not to mention far more realistic. Unless Greedo had a REALLY BAD nervous twitch which just got him at the right (or wrong) moment, it would have been just as realistic having Greedo blow Han's head off followed by him getting fried by Headless Han's blaster, Han getting up carrying his head which promptly says "sorry about the mess" and leaving. Oh and then Luke could use his l33t f@rm bo1 skillz to sew Han's head back on

That is re-edited pooh you are showing Dutch. Like they did with ET. Instead of guns some of the the people chasing ET held a bullhorn .

In the original version Han Just blasted the crap out of him.

The re-editted version where you see Han move his head a little, so the laser bolt impacts misses is a joke.
In the original version Han just shot Greedo and it felt right. Han has a great survival instinct and would surely not wait for the other guy to fire.
