that would be fun its better than everyone take a fighter or a bomber go solo and get yourself killed

Ahh, i can remember back in GC, not too many people were on, just enough to crew a ship on each side, we rebels may have got beaten, barely though, and it was the best time i can remember having in a game, none of us were in clans, but still the teamwork was phonomenal. i also woundnt mind joining if there is any clan like that.

Battlefront II was the a really big let down to me. I've ready alot into SW's Expanded Universe and is was so horribly inaccurate I haven't played in in about 10 months.

That was my greatest experience ever. I always dreamed of this since i played the old x-wing, tie fighter, xwing vs. tie fighter and x-wing alliance games. The space content in starwars galaxies also had multiplayer ships, but not as fun and big scales as GC. I really hope first strike will have the same as LA failed to do such in their horrible battlefront I and II. GC is still the king in multiplayer starwars gaming as there really is a starwars atmosphere. Only First Strike can kick GC of it's throne and make it second.

I also bought BF2142 just for this mod. And i really hope there will be a release soon. Buggy or not, i don't care as i also played the very 1st release of GC and i liked it.

Hullo folks, been following this mod for quite some time and it even contributed largely to my purchase of BF 2142

I'm a bit of a GC veteran, but the thing I liked most about the mod were the epic space battles between the capitol ships. The ships were set up in such a way that it seemed to open up a new method of play that I hadn't seen before.

I remember I was in a clan...can't remember the name that was set up to act like the crew of a capitol ship, where you would have the ship's captain driving/commanding the ship and the other crewman at their posts. The crew pretty much manned all the guns/turrets on the ship, with the captain directing their fire. I remember a few instanced where we had multiple crews on different ships but ship on ship teamwork never really blossomed.

To this day I've still got that fuzzy memory of standing on the bridge of my Imperial Dreadnaught and ordering all frontal guns to open fire on the aproaching Nova B. Anywho, I was wondering if there were any clans oriented around real a real fleet/navy setup where they would set up ranks acording to the crew of a ship.
