I know from experience that alphas and betas easily can leak as badly as the bladder of your average 15 year old girl. You'll have it in your hands soon enough.

After playing QW, I really dont think its too much of a competition to BF2 or its derivitives, its a very loose spray and pray type of gameplay feels like tribes or UT almost. Its alright but as much as I loved to whine about the bugs in BF2 (:D) the overall game mechanics are very solid, like a perfect blend between Flashpoint and CS. I will always chech out good mods for the BF2 engine hence coming here... nice plug huh

I really do not see FS competing against those other games or any commercial games for that matter. If FS were an official LucasArts release and had some promotion going into it then yeah, those games would be the competition. But FS is a mod so...no. But I can see your point, those games could take away from the time that could've been spent on playing FS. Although I don't see why anyone couldn't play all of them.

I think that this presents a MASSIVE opportunity for FIRST STRIKE

I know that many gamers (myself included) are getting bored with BF2142 and are waiting on QUAKE WARS and some other titles to be released

I know that you guys are constantly hassled for release dates but IMHO there is a definite window of opportunity to fill the void between people getting bored with existing titles (BF2, SWBF2, and BF2142) and the release of the eagerly anticipated titles (QUAKE WARS, CrYsis etc.)
