smoke isnt that bad for you health?
i think that if you check the list of items you should see smoke grenades there.
as for the blaster impact smoke. i always thought that where the crappy Special effect that lucas had to put up with on his first SW shooting.
or atleast thats the idea i get from listening to him on the dvd extra's.

plus white smoke doesnt make sence. it burn so it should be some kind of black/dark grey smoke

Hey guys, I've had a thought in my head regarding modifications and what they aim for. In my head, atmosphere is more important than graphics and is on par with gameplay in development. But that part of my head isn't relevant; here's my idea.

In my experience in Battlefield 2142 titan combat, I've found that using smoke grenades in corridors is actually an essential gameplay element. I think that that idea could be expanded into an atmospheric element as well, have blaster shots emit a THIN cloud of smoke when they hit a wall or surface. The cloud is thin, but lasts a while (20-30 seconds). Where there are extended firefights, though, the clouds of smoke stack up and obscure vision for all involved.

I just keep having the Tantive IV corridor battle in A New Hope popping in my head, complete with all of its smoke and stuff. I think it'd be cool to integrate smoke in a greater sense. What do you guys think?
