I knew there'd be something like this on the Wiki !

The closest thing I get to a reference to a Chinese special forces it is the Snow Wolf Commando Unit, but they appear to be a police unit more than a military unit.

First person? Hmm, I like that idea. Maybe I'll do it after I've finished Northern Strike, as I'll hvae to wait for EA to release the next booster before I can continue.

What battle would you like an account of? Wake Island from both sides, perhaps?

I tried to put it on Wikipedia, under Bf2, but they removed it.

If you could find the name of the Chinese Commandos for me I'd be happy to add it in.

Finally an attempt to give BF2 a background plot . I never understood why it didn't have one in the first place.

From what little I've read, you need to do some research and fill in the gaps. For example, fill in the name of the Chinese commandos in the place of 'the Chinese equivalent of the US Marines'.

But yes, the effort you've put into this is just breathtaking. Any chance I could recruit you to Wikipedia ?

I started writing a sort of backround for BF2 about a year back, and started 2142 as well when it came out. then I got sidetracked by exams and all, but I've just started to write it again with the hope of finishing once and for all. Its pretty comprehensive (ok, very long) and has loads of maps and things. Check it out.
