I'm American, I go on IRC... occasionally. I would do it more often if I used mIRC (or at least a better one than IceChat <.<), but apparently, mIRC is illegal if you don't pay the price thingy. So, yeah, I stay away from that, hehe.

But, how does that saying go? "Perfection can't be rushed." Something like that.

About IRC being full of European people, I'd have to disagree with you on that. I for one am not European; I come from Canada, eh? Also, there are a lot of other non-Europeans in there: Woodrow, BiggS, TY2D2, Siccy (though he never says anything anymore), I think King Dork aswell. There's probably more, so no, IRC isn't all Euro.

And hey, Europeans arn't bad people. They're probably better than us....

I agree with Renwood. At least 1 space map and 1 Ground map can be released, can't it? I mean what harm can come from it? the only thing that could happen is that it gets more people interested in the game.

its far enoegh along to be playable by us. but nowhere near close enoegh to be released to the public. if we were to release now all we will get is moaning and complaining.

Why is it only people ive met that use IRC are europeans?

Ive never met any americans (other then Kampher) in 11 years of internet gaming that give 2 shits about IRC.

My Escape pod crashed somewhere in Arizona. so somebody dont forget to swing by and pick me up when FS comes out.

BTW isnt it far enough along to get a playable version out to the plublic? what are you gonna do wait untill you devs think its finished? it will never be finished! such is the way of user created MODs!

the only way it will be close to finished is after you let the public get ahold of several versions of it, and you fix all the bugs and cheap exploits the PUBLIC finds.

in house testing only can get you so far. how you guys gonna know what its like when 40+ people dogfight on a space map if you dont even have that many testers ever play it at the same time!?!

RELEASE THIS GAME AS IT IS NOW PLEASE. and keep fixing it and making it better.
