Hm, should be normal if a fleet has attached transports & tankers.

Some Ships must carry the ammunition an fuel for rearming and refueling the Fleet after battle. If you are the attacker you can keep these transports out of the battleline.
But if some wise fish-head finds out "It's a trap" it only sensible keep them between your ships to protect 'em.

Some chance to have a boarding scenario for Endor ?
After re-installing FS if have read the first X-Wing Novel again ( Curse You ! ) , the rebs haven been captured two (?) Star Destroyers over Endor.

Would be great, even without moving StarDestroyer. Even better than Titan. No movment, no lag

Oh, don't be silly.

They had Gallofree transports for auto-repair and re-arming, just like we do in FS.

Milton beat me to it. They were probably used as an anti-fighter screen to keep TIE bombers and the like off of the Mon Cals, Nebulon B's, etc.

At least, that's my guess...

The more ships you have the more dangerous you appear and enemy fire is more dispersed meaning less damage to more important ships. Its like historical battles, the army's had elite troops and the idiot's with no training. Elite troops do the fighting, weak troops are used as a target, or just to tip the balance.

They are often used as a light fighter destroyers aswell.
Iv killed a couple of TIE's with a squadron of them lol.

those ships do actualy have Blaster turrets on them

bout the same damage as the falcon

not many tho one on top and one on the bottom..... and any blaster the rebels can get they will take

plus the fact that they carry a mobile base

'Fire ships', most likely - vessels used to ram Imperial ships. That or boarding craft. Would be nice if there was a Gallofree or two in First Strike's depiction of the Battle of Endor, if there is one made, used for that purpose. Bring it close to an Imperial ship, activate the explosives she carries, and evacuate her before she blows. Would be a nifty feature.

LOL. Great responses.

The EU novels will REALLY make you hate Bothans, 'specially Borsk Fey'lya. The only semi-likeable one is the female pilot from Rogue Squadron, and Grinder.

Well, the shields on Mon Cals and Neb Bs are so bad, that you need some sort of cannon fodder to take the brunt.

Many Bothans died to man those Gallofrees......(seriously though, does ANYONE like the Bothans?)
