We are trying to make the ultamate StarWars mod, that lets people play the classic, and Expanded Universe battles any way they wan&#039;t without going all gameish like Bioware did in StarWars: BattleFront, and StarWarsBattleFront: 2.</p><p>We wan&#039;t it to be as close to the movies as possable without makeing it too gameish, and without it turning into a crapy game with poor gameplay. I mean the devs even said you will die in close to one or two shots depending on where your hit.</p>]]></content>

Nothing wrong with Zero-G physics, in fact the Warp mod I worked for before it crashed was to use a really cool system in which ships and fighters were assigned floaters that made them behave pretty much as if they were in a vacuum-filled empty void. I&#039;d love a Battlefield mod that implemented this. However, the <em>Star Wars</em> universe doesn&#039;t have real-life physics, and as such, this mod shouldn&#039;t either.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>If you look at the movies you will notice that Tie&#039;s and Xwings blow up instantly. They turn into gasclouds through which other fighters fly. </p><p>It might not correct according to the law of physics, but if everything in the mod would be according to that law you would see massive changes that are not StarWars accurate.</p><p>i.e.: No sounds in space. Inertia flying (more in a battlestar galactica style). No fire in space. </p><p>Remember we are trying to get as close to Star Wars as possible and not real word physics.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>One thing I&#039;m seeing that I&#039;m not too sure about is that in the space battle, it seems that when a ship explodes, the explosion stays in place when it should move in the direction the ship was traveling. Inertia won&#039;t stop just because the moving object exploded, the pieces will still be in motion (or at least most of them.</p><p>Just something that looks like a physics flaw that I noticed. I may be completely wrong though.<br />I just think someone should know.</p>]]></content>

Not only that the shield that the Empire can use will work alot better this time than it ever did in the old BF1942 GC mod. Glad to see the devs are keeping some of the old mod in the game.</p><p>One request:</p><p>Please don&#039;t have vehicles be able to take like 4-5 anti-tank rockets like they could in the GC mod. It made vehicles way over powered. Also a Turbo Lasrer should be able to rip both StarFighters, and dropships to shreds in seconds.</p><p>BTW: Any plans to use the BF2142 vehicle shields in some way? I mean it may not be realsitic to have them on ground vehicles but aircraft could benifate from them.</p>]]></content>
