Well, the word installer says it all doesn't it? Just to assure you. It will work just like any commercial installer and you should be fine.

Download it and execute the installer and before you know it you are in SW heaven.

This is re-asuring, I play empire at war and forces of corruption and every mod I tried to use for Eaw/Foc says put it into c/programfiles/lucasarts/empireatwar/gamedata/mods problem is none of my games have a mods file so I create one in the place it should be but when I put mods in there they dont work so I went from no mods file to mods file that doesnt work. Anyway will this installer do everything for you like an installer for proper retail games?

I hate it when modders don't bother to include documentation on how to install, or, when they start patching, what you need to download and in what order you need to install it. I trust FS will do better, though .

even if there isnt an installer (too put the mod in the right place) for the mod you can just put it into your mods folder in 2142...
(if your running xp)= my computer>local disk (c:)>program files>electronic arts>battlefield 2142>mods>and then that is where you put the mods

then after that you just go to normal 2142>community>custom games> then your mod you dled should be there (if you did everything right prior to that)

sometimes that works... but yeah...

I never downloaded a mod before so I've never had this problem...but now you've made me worry, lol...I hope they include an installer...

How many times I have downloaded a great looking mod only to find that I was unable to install it even by following instuctions exactly and furthermore I know im not alone, so please include an automatic installer with this mod similar to one you would find on a game you would buy. Hope you give this some thought.:D
