It really pissed me off Pandemic botched the landing animation so badly (how the "wings" close). Then to make things even worse, Hasbro used the same design. Good grief, didn't these people even watch ROTS?!

On a side note, did anyone notice the Alpha-3 V-wing looks almost exactly like one of the Cornerian fighters from StarFox Assault? Coincidence?

The E-Wing has to be my favourite Rebel Fighter from the EU, it looks so much like a natural progression from the X-Wing, nice sleek lines too. For the Empire it has to be between the TIE Phantom and Scimitar Bomber, but perhaps I shouldn't be mentioning the 'E' word in this thread?

I completely agree. It retains that classic trilogy design and feel while looking like a much sleeker, more sophisticated natural upgrade to the X-wing. A fantastic craft and definately one of my most favorite post Saga EU fighters.
