O yes back then I had an old crappy computer and had my settings on low. Now I can play the game on full after getting a nicer one.
I was planning on playing on a server on saturday. I also been hoping on during the day to see if there were people playing.Biggest one yet was around 11 people but after a round or 2 it died down. Me and my friend last night were speed racing on the racer map, lots of fun, brings back a lot of memories.

Wouldnt mind giving it one last go.Used to have to play with all the settings down low on my old rig,but have since upgraded (dual core + loads of ram ,faster broadband etc).Might be a whole new experience for me.

Yea, quite a few of us got together last night and played some killer GC. I also found like 3 old buddies and we chatted on Teamspeak for a few hours remembering the fun of GC.

Hear's to hoping that First Strike will deliver those fun times we all used to have with GC!

Gee, we had a group of us on the NoC server last night. Some real good games of Judicator that brought back memories of the peak of GC.

I say before the release of Firststrike we can all gather on Battlefield1942 and play GC! There are only about 3-4 servers left and I am glad to see those host haven't taken them down seeing as they are 99% always empty since the mod died down. I played GC since release 4 and it's been the best mod I have ever played in any game.(Forgotten Hope might hit second place in my book. )
One of the servers I still play on a lot is called "Battlestar", 64 slot server, FF on I think. Really what I am ranting about is we should plan a week of playing GC and getting those server to 30 people and above for one last party. That would make me happier then someone winning a million dollars.
I know I'll be getting my friends to hop on and shoot a few rounds in the clone trooper ship , so if you can, dust off that disk, reinstall the game, download GC and hop on for one last shooting on the best mod for BF1942.
