Yeah i've heard of that method, both would work. I was talking from the situation if the platform was chosen, in which case a hangar or something. Should've said that, heh.

And these two methods also rely on the story of the map, like a raid by fighters or a capital vs capital.

Don't need platform. Just create spawn points inside vehicles which are flowing in space. When you spawn to vehicle/transport you get its controls and other ones will spawn to passanger seats till it's full. Then new transport will spawn and this same thing repeats...

Anything is better than barely being able to walk on a titan, and i've got plenty of experiences with that. A single ship might work to reduce such problems, i'd guess there would be a static platform for the rebels to launch from or something like that.

Map with only one "Titan" could be cool. One team defending and other one attacking. I don't like vanilla Titan mode that much cos you always have to defend and attack. And I guess there's less lag issues too if there's only one and possibly static "Titan".

i got it... straight from the movies... a dogfight / objective map on a Super Star Destroyer... flying low through all the control/weapons towers would be a blast. goal would be to take out the sheild generators and then the bridge... maybe make the bridge invincible except to kamikaze a-wings

People would run each others down for the mod .

Personally i hope the devs concider to make a map like Battle of Tanaab, not because of it's objectives, but the research station made an awesome place for people to dogfight. You could lose your enemy inside of it, or if done right confusing your enemy and letting your opponent crash into a wall. The place was good enough.

Just imagine what a Deathstar II interior would be like, few good pilots would actually make it inside.

If you want to have a dogfight map, just make it interesting, things people recognize from the movies, a fictional battle from the EU books, or a made-up story that involves a region of space thats good enough for the masses and one that doesnt get boring too quickly.

And thats quite a task...
