No, but the mods for both should be good,hopefully fh2 will come out 1 of these days, but this is the mod i have been really wanting to play.

FS could always release a hotfix perhaps.

there is sence in that, no point in just releasing then havin to make a patch

So true.I installed 2142 sat down and thought ,I'll just update with the latest patch before I get stuck in..............a couple of Hours later it was too late to play.
Imaine waiting for a 300mb patch to download and install while you know everyone else is flying X-wings,blasting the crap out of echo base or whatever lies in store on release.:mad:

Good enough reason for people to buy 2142 in advance, the 300 MB patch aint so much of a problem as there are alot of download mirrors in alot of countries close to nearly anyone, for europeans i suggest german sites, they are usually superfast in my case. Still, it's wise to do all this before FS gets released.

Because you dont want to get in too much of a download line when FS does get released, and i dont know how much sites will have it up for people to get it.

And thats especially directed towards Safe, unless he has the patience.

thing is mate i dunno if u will  need to be fully patched to play this and if u dn't get it sooner u will be stuck patching for hours ... and I mean ******* hours

Yeah patching actually takes lot of time.

I'm buying 2142 when FS comes out, not a moment sooner.

Does it make a difference if you do it now or later? No efforts to be done, 2142 already sitting on your HD, download the mod and there you go.

Unless, you have other reasons...
