i'm runing out of ideas! i can't belive i spent 30 euros on it and now i can't play it !!! But why isn't my problem at the EA's FAQ ?...and by the way,i think i have this problem for a good 2 month's now,and i hear that my account might be deactivated,is this true ?

Nope, it's still a mod not a new game, so unfortuanetely you'll need to login.

Naaah! I tryed that but there is no reply! I sent 4-5 emails to them,but nothing!But in this mod do i still need to login to that damn ea server? can't this mod make it to skip,or to login at one of you're servers?

Well you have to mail them first, they will most likely send you a new CD key (at least I hope that).

So you did use the acccount you used in the first place to install 2142 for the first time? Did you buy the EA Downloader or the DVD version?

You should try to login with your original account, otherwise you'll need to contact EA, explain to them in very clear terms and mention it multiple times you have the DVD the manual, the receipt and the case and are willing to send it to them or make a picture of it, and they will most likely either send you a new key, ask for the number on the DVD (its written in small lettters, dont give it to anyone but EA support!) and give you a new key or will ask you to send the entire package plus 5$ to them.

I have this problem too, I bought the game from my cousin and it won't allow me to create a new account, because a username has already been registered for the CD-key

You probably need to remove the registry entry for the CD key. Go to EA support and log a trouble ticket.

I tryed that too.....but it said that the cd-key is already taken by someone else....that is actualy me...

I did a full reinstall of windows,deleted the old one and installed a fresh copy.Why dosen't anyone else have this problem?what did I do wrong ?
