I say there's nothing wrong with contolled nukes. For example, The tatical nukes in World in Conflict. They don't even take out half a city. Thats a small nuke. Those would be useful in wars, and wouldn't damage the earth to much.

Also, I know this sounds weird, but I'd kinda like to see a WWIII, where everyone pulls out their latest technology. I mean, I know war is bad, and people get killed. But at least make it a video game...Battlefield 2025...I wanna see that.

It is important to understand the causes of September 11th . The terrorists arent just raving lunatics. Evil yes...but what has caused this hatred towards the UK/US etc is important to understand if we are to correct the problems. It doesnt matter what Osama Bin Laden's personal objective is , whether it be to free the Middle East or to turn the world Islamic , if what we do around the world breeds people willing to commit suicide for him. I recommend looking up Michael Scheuer the ex head of the CIA's Bin Laden unit and checkin out his views/books and of course Ron Paul , republican presidential candidate , heck even the 911 Commission Report. You wont learn anythin from Fox news etc.

Finally i wish all the best to the millions of victims resulting from 911.

Those events shaped the world for what it is today, the Nazi's officialy brought fascism and coldblooded dictatorship to the spotlights, the cold war era involved CIA funding resistance movement in Afghanistan against the Soviet invaders (Mujahideen) and eventually forming terrorist groups because they were left without anyone to support them, and who is a nice example of that? Al-Qaida. The group that somehow attacked the Twin towers?

WW1 was a powderkeg world, WW2 led to Zionism and Israel and the tensions of the middle east and against all those who support Israel USA included, Nukes are a danger to the world, Russia/China are major players that could be tricked into war by terrorism. Those subjects were temporarily brought up.

Take a look around many political forums and you will see that September 11th goes far beyond the simplistic plot you think it is. But thats a choice. If you think this not a place for such discussions, alright, i could start another topic but that wouldnt satisfy you i'd guess. I'll stop the discussion then. Dont be suprised if someone is willing to resume the discussion, though.

Remembering 9/11 is fine, we all do. But talking about a threat that's even worse than what happened on that day is no crime, not lame and annoying. But even ontopic, the topic was heading to nuclear terrorism, i cant think of anything more close to that.
