first came the T-rex, the T-rex made an egg, when the egg came out there was a small yellow thing that keep saying tok and didnt grow at all

(chicken is a descendant from the T-rex)

Anyway, saying that the chicken didnt come from the egg is like saying humans didn't come from "primitive-ape-like-ancestors" (someone would call me wrong if I said monkey). You have to be either all for it or all against it. No picking and choosing allowed. The egg is such a basic part of life that it exists in every class of animal. Even mammals have a type of egg, it just isn't so highly developed.

It depends what you mean...If you mean ANY egg...say, dinosaur egg, snake egg...etc. Then obviously the egg came first...If you mean the CHICKEN EGG, then the chicken came first, because it evolved and hatched out of another animal's egg.
