You know... I've been watching this mod for a LONG time, but this is my first post.... This is what I'm doing Friday, I'm going to hang up my xbox 360 remote, stop playing halo 3, and play First Strike... I'm calling out of work, telling my girlfriend to leave me alone, getting all of my gaming community members together and just going to play the living crap out of this game... All i can say is watch out cause VC members are storming the star destroyers... (unless we go imperial then we'll be taking down the Mon Calamari )

4 days to go i can't wait!!!

Well I will be out of town that weekend so I won't be on battlefield until monday Hopefully I have time to install it before I leave home.

don't worry, i'm from australia too and hopefully internode and gamearena host servers, which they should. also there should be an aussie link for us to download the mod, like ausgamers will probably host it.

I am going in for surgery on monday morning,I've been told to take at least three weeks off work to recover,and who am I to argue with the medical proffession.
Wonder what i'll find to fill all those hours at home with just me and my pc?
(And NO i dont mean looking at scam before you ask).

I just hope that there is server I can get to with a reasonable ping rate. Its a long way from downunder to anywhere. With every one wanting to download at the same time better blank out a lot of time for the actual download.

ok so there might be some custom maps of some older gc maps? cool.
but i also want to know will first strike have their own version of hoth, you know, like not a remake of the gc hoth but a new hoth? like will there be maps with the same names as the gc ones? u know like hoth, tatooine, cloud city etc.

I think I have permission to answer this, the answer is no. However, I'm encouraging TY2D2, FS's mapper in training , to work on a couple to be released as a custom map.
