If you like fast-paced arcade action, it's for you. If you're more of a realism player, it might get a bit hectic for you. I downloaded this and Project Reality yesterday, and I like the latter far better.

yea but
1. NO!! i do not want to install jet another crap programm to download
2. NO!! i do not want to have to pay to start download at max speed
3. NO!! i do not want to have to wait in line to use the free version
4. YES!! im a internet user, im used to gettin gstuff for free with high speeds and no waiting lines

Ooooh! Just what I was looking for! I heard about the pirates 1942 mod when I clicked on "pirated games" at fileplanet. But I don't have 1942, and I figure it was dead anyway, but it looked really cool. I didn't know they were making a pirates 2.

Thanks for the info though! I'll have to check this out. Its for BF2 right? Hmmm, if its any good, I might have trouble balancing out P2 and FS...lol.

But yes, Battlefield Pirates 2 is out! In good pirate fashion, I shall loot parts of the news bulletin from their site and post it here!

After two years of development, many late nights, and with the help of the beta testers, we're proud to release our 1st open beta version of Battlefield Pirates for Battlefield 2. Seems FS may have some competition coming! I just played a few rounds and it was not bad at all, even though my ping was high and my sound stuttering (neither of which was the fault of the dev crew).

Those damned skeletons are annoying as Heck. I like how you're dependent on sidearms and melee weapons more, though, seeing how long it takes to reload your weapons!
